Welcome to the 14th Annual Kraye Angus bull sale.

It's been an exciting year, with record cattle prices, and generally heavier weaning weights.

We were fortunate to get adequate rainfall throughout the growing season, and had good moisture in the fall, which gave us some much needed drought relief.

Even with calf prices reaching all-time highs, several Kraye Angus bull customers topped the market, at area sale barns, with their calves.

We have always stood behind our bulls, but this year we have added a 1st breeding season guarantee.

All of the bulls will be semen tested.

All of the bulls will be ultra sounded and the information processed thru the CUP program.

This is a solid set of hard-working, no nonsense bulls. We have already taken out a lot of the guesswork in culling these bulls. We are offering the top 2/3's of our bulls- 114 lots out of our bull crop of 170 head.

The sires of these bulls are among the best of the Angus industry.

B/R New Frontier 095 is the "Power Son" of 036, with a below average birth weight, while still being among the tip 1% for milk, 2% for SC, 4% for IMF, and 15% for REA.

VRD will sire calves with great length and volume. His birth EPD is high for the breed, however his calves are long at birth and don't cause a problem. VRD will sire great replacement females.

An exciting new bull is Connealy VRD 869. He was the top selling bull at Connealy's 2003 sale, sold to Derry Angus, out of South Dakota . Connealy VRD is a stout VRD son, out of a QAS Traveler 23-4 daughter. The bulls in this sale are among the first of his offspring offered for sale.

Hyline Right Time 338 comes close to being the perfect bull. His calves are born with lighter than average birth weights but index above average at weaning and yearling ages. He produces calves with lots of length and capacity.

Also offered are A.I. sons of B/R Ambush 28, who was one of the top selling bulls at Rishel's 2002 sale. This bull has a large rib eye and scanned well with a high IMF.

Sitz Alliance is a tried and proven complete sire. Daughters have lots of volume and are easy fleshing. 6595 was the 8 th highest sire of registrations in 2004.

CA Future Direction is a calving ease bull, with high carcass performance. Future Direction was the 3 rd highest sire of registrations in 2004.

New Design 1407 is a calving ease sire with a lot of eye appeal and carcass value.

Among the other sires are A&B Yukon 2115, who was the top selling bull at the A&B Cattle sale in 2003, and Dameron VRD, the top selling bull at the Dameron Angus 2003 sale.
